The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) -  the preeminent organization and the national voice for middle level and high school principals, assistant principals and aspiring school leaders – provides its members with the professional resources needed to serve as visionary leaders.  The mission of NASSP is to promote excellence in school leadership.  NASSP members include middle and high school principals, district supervisors, administrators, department heads, non-administrators interested in middle level and high school administration, professors and student activity advisers.  NASSP’s award-winning publications include Principal Leadership, NewsLeader, and Leadership for Student Activities. 

The National Association of Secondary School Principals promotes the intellectual growth, academic achievement, character development, and physical well-being of youth through its programs and student leadership programs.  NASSP sponsors the National Honor Society, the National Junior Honor Society and the National Association of Student Councils, and works closely with their activity advisers.
