Meet the Team

Rickard List Marketing Mark L. Rickard joined Rickard List Marketing in 1995. He took over the reigns as CEO and President in 1997.  Mark has a marketing and accounting degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.  He also completed his law degree at the University of Michigan Law School.  After four years as a CPA with Arthur Andersen and six years as a corporate finance lawyer with Latham & Watkins in New York City, Mark could no longer resist the lure of the family business.  Mark is a former board member of the Long Island Direct Marketing Association and has spoken on the list business in front of a number of organizations and as part of the NYU Direct Marketing Seminar Course.  Mark is a member of the DMA List Council.

Rikard List Marketing

Jennifer L. Rickard is our COO and Executive Vice President and has been overseeing all aspects of the direct marketing operations of the company for the last fourteen of her more than twenty years with the company.  She is the Director of our list brokerage group and is responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of our most enduring list brokerage client relationships.  Jennifer is a member of the DMA Circulation Council.

Rickard List Management Lisa Hamilton is our Vice President in charge of List Management.  Lisa joined us in 2003 after a 12-year career as a list manager working for a number of other list owners and list management companies.  Notably, she had stints working with Kleid, Direct Media, Lillian Vernon and MGI.  Her more than eighteen years’ cumulative experience in the list business as list manager and broker uniquely qualify her to run our entire list management department.  Lisa knows how to sell and promote any type of list.  She has fine research and sales skills and she knows and has relationships with all the significant players in the business (list brokers, mailers and list owners alike).  During her time with Rickard, Lisa has done a tremendous job assembling and training a competent list management team and instituting new systems (sales, promotion and administrative) to upgrade our list management profile.  She has shown a tremendous ability to squeeze new sales out of old files and to add additional list management properties to our roster.  Her primary responsibilities include list sales and promotion, account management, production supervision, and new business development.  Lisa’s list management expertise includes extensive knowledge and familiarity with the sales and marketing of education and association files and consumer publishing, catalog and BtoB list rental properties. Lisa is a member of the DMA List Council.

Rickard List Marketing Marianne Palumbo is a Director in our List Brokerage Group.  She has been with Rickard List Marketing since 1996. Her primary responsibilities are in our consumer list brokerage department, but she also has excelled in our list management group by generating sales for our managed consumer lists. Marianne has advanced rapidly at Rickard and is an important part of our management team.  Marianne is a member of the DMA List Council.

Amy Seyler

Amy Seyler is the Director of our Education List Brokerage Group.  She joined Rickard in 2004 and brings over 17 years of list experience with her. Amy’s strong background in education marketing includes early education, K-12 and higher education. She also has developed a unique understanding of the online distance learning space, and the particular challenges of student lead generation. Amy works with direct mail, email, package inserts, and advertising placement, as well as other media. While she specializes in various areas of business-to-business marketing, several fundraisers and consumer mailers are included in her book of business. Amy is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Rickard List Marketing Gerard Petrocelli is the Sales Manager of our List Management division.  Gerard joined Rickard List Marketing in 2005.  He has over 13 years list management experience in the business-to-business and high-tech arenas and spent two years as Director of List Management at L.I.S.T Inc. prior to joining Rickard.  He specializes in business-to-business and opt-in email marketing and has worked with clients ranging from Internet startups like Xdrive.com to well established publishing companies like Ziff-Davis. Gerard’s understanding & experience with both the email and postal markets gives him a unique perspective on the role of list management in today’s environment

Rickard List Marketing Kayle Plotkin is the Vice President, Business Development.  She joined Rickard in 2010.   Kayle has over 30 years of experience in list management and list brokerage.  Her principal focus has been on the list management side, with diverse strength in both consumer and business to business list marketing. Kayle’s diverse marketing, advertising and sales skills allow for creative positioning for her clients in the many markets she serves.  Her many areas of expertise include a focus in children’s marketing, financial development, health and fitness and an overall insight into maximizing list rental revenue for multi title publishers. Kayle develops opportunities using a strategic multi-tiered approach to list management.  Her “client-centric” process maximizes the benefit to clients from her sales skills, customer service and overall commitment to their economic success.  Kayle most recently was the VP of Business Development at Statlistics.  Her past clients have included American Media, Hanna Andersson, One Step Ahead, Little MissMatched, Barrons, Value Line, AWWA, Governing, Hemmings Motor News, Cambridge Healthtech, Bass and Musician’s Friend.
